Viola’s Original Submarine House was established in 1958 by founders Otto Viola, Louie Riccuito, Joseph and his wife Rita Tardibuono in Niagara Falls, NY on Elmwood Avenue in the market district of the city. Two years later in 1960 they built their second location on Military Road in the Town of Niagara.
The business has been proudly family owned and operated for nearly eight decades.Today, Joe & Rita’s six children Sandy, Rose, Sarah (Gioia), Tom, Peter and Gina are the sole proprietors and can be seen managing its daily operations along with a few of their grandchildren.
